A good, informative podcast on vitamins, minerals, and supplementation. The key to nutrition in any horse diet, however, should always be forage. Consider starting with a forage/hay analysis first and then build on the lacking nutrients from there. Look and consider all necessary nutrients: carbohydrates, protein, fats, vitamins, and minerals; that is the true concept of equine nutrition.
